Who we are

Jireh Services, ABN 44 989 077 647, operating from Seville Grove, Western Australia. We clean gutters, roofs, solar panels, windows and exteriors across the Perth metro area. In this policy, "we" and "us" means Jireh Services, and "you" means anyone who contacts us, requests a quote, or has work done.

You can reach us any time about anything on this page on 0458 694 984 or [email protected].

What we collect

Only what we need to quote your job, turn up at the right place, and invoice you afterwards.

  • Your name, mobile number and email address
  • The address of the property to be worked on
  • Details about the job, such as how many storeys, roof type, access notes and what needs cleaning
  • Photos of your property, including satellite imagery we look at when quoting and before and after photos we take on the day
  • A record of our conversations, whether by phone, text, email or Facebook Messenger
  • Payment records, though we never see or store your full card details

If you visit our website we also collect standard technical information such as your approximate location, browser type and which pages you looked at. More on that under cookies and tracking below.

How we collect it

  • When you fill in a quote form on our website
  • When you call, text, or message us on Facebook or Instagram
  • When you talk to us in person at your property
  • When you leave us a review or enquiry through Google
  • From a real estate agent or property manager who books work on a property owner's behalf

Why we use it

  • To work out a price and send you a quote
  • To schedule the job and let you know when we are coming
  • To do the work safely and to the right standard
  • To send you before and after photos and a roof condition report
  • To invoice you and keep our tax records
  • To follow up on a quote you have not answered yet, and to remind you when your gutters are due again
  • To improve our advertising, so we spend less money reaching people who want what we do

Photos of your property

We photograph our work on nearly every job. Those photos are mainly for you, so you can see what was done without getting on a ladder, and for our own records if a question comes up later.

We sometimes also use before and after photos in our advertising, on our website, or on social media. When we do, we do not include your name, your street address, or anything that identifies you or your house specifically, such as a visible house number or number plate.

If you would rather we did not use photos of your property in any advertising, just tell us. Say it on the phone, in a text, or in the notes on the quote form. There is no process to go through and it makes no difference to the job or the price.

Who else sees your information

We do not sell your information and we never will. We do share it in a few specific situations.

Our team and subcontractors

Some work is carried out by subcontractors operating under their own ABNs. They get the details they need to do your job, meaning your name, phone number, address and job notes, and nothing else. They are not permitted to use your details for their own marketing.

Software we run the business on

We use third party services for our customer records, quoting, text messaging, email and payments. The main one is GoHighLevel, which stores customer data on servers in the United States. That means your name, phone number, email and job details are held overseas. We chose it because it lets us reply to quotes quickly, and by contacting us you accept that your information is stored this way.

Advertising platforms

We advertise on Facebook, Instagram and Google. These platforms receive information about visits to our website and, in some cases, a scrambled version of your email or phone number so they can measure whether their advertising worked. They are not given your address or job details.

When the law requires it

We will hand over information if we are legally required to, for example to the ATO, to an insurer handling a claim, or to a court.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies and tracking pixels, including Google Analytics and the Meta pixel. These tell us how many people visited, which pages they read, and which advertisement brought them here. They also allow us to show our ads to people who visited but did not get in touch.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can turn off personalised advertising in your Facebook and Google account settings. Our website will still work normally if you do.

Marketing and how to stop it

If you have had work done or asked for a quote, we may text or email you occasionally, usually to follow up a quote or to let you know your gutters are due for another clean.

Reply STOP to any text, click unsubscribe in any email, or just tell us on the phone. We will take you off the list and it will not affect your ability to book work with us in future.

Keeping it safe

Your information is held in password protected systems with access limited to the people who need it. We use reputable providers who encrypt data in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee against every possible breach, but if one ever happened that put you at serious risk we would tell you and notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries that never became jobs are kept for around two years, because people often come back. Records of completed work, including invoices, are kept for at least seven years to meet our tax obligations. Job photos are kept indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them.

Seeing or correcting your information

You can ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you, free of charge, usually within a few days. You can ask us to correct anything wrong, and you can ask us to delete your details, though we may need to keep invoice records for the tax period required by law.

Ring 0458 694 984 or email [email protected].

If you are not happy

Tell us first. Ring us on 0458 694 984 and we will try to sort it out on the spot. If you are still not satisfied, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Children

Our services are sold to property owners and occupiers, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. For anything significant, we will let existing customers know directly.
